Welcome to our Publishing Services page

Quentin Wilson Publishing is also a book-publishing consultant and a full service book producer to other publishers and to organisations, companies, families, or individuals publishing under their own imprints – both nationally and internationally. Our professional publishing services include:

  • manuscript assessment
  • book editing and proofreading
  • book design and page layout
  • New Zealand and international book printing oversight and management
  • book launches, both in-store and virtual online launches
  • sales and distribution
  • media publicity
  • direct marketing and social marketing
  • international rights

In each aspect of the publishing process, we work with highly skilled professionals of long-standing in the book publishing world. Any combination or feature of the publishing services above is offered to small or large publishers seeking to utilise them, especially, for example, when dealing with international printers.

Commitment to quality

Quentin Wilson Publishing assists authors, families, businesses, and other publishers, through a Consultancy role, to bring their ideas or their manuscripts to life as published books. In so doing, Quentin Wilson Publishing ensures the highest standards in every aspect of the publishing process – driven by the knowledge that a book may last forever and must reflect that possibility in every aspect of its editing, design, production, sale and distribution, and marketing.

Our people

Quentin Wilson Publishing contracts with others who bring similar years of experience to their crafts. These are professionals within the book-publishing world and include editors, proofreaders, book designers, page layout experts, project managers, book distributors, and sales representatives, all of whom have extensive experience in their respective fields.

In the final stages of book production, Quentin Wilson Publishing works with printers and binders both nationally and internationally, some of whom Quentin Wilson has worked with for as many as thirty years, when necessary visiting them in order to oversee each stage of the printing process.

International experience

As a result of attending leading book fairs such as Frankfurt, London and Chicago, Quentin Wilson has sold international publishing and language rights to publishers in countries as diverse as Canada, the USA, England, Scotland, Italy, Germany, India, Brazil, Mexico, and Russia, and dealt with book-trade distributors in Australia, the UK, and the USA.
